Now and again in this search for sound and place, one can achieve a venue where both are provided for you at extreme cost. Not only to the senses but of the wallet. Welcome to a wayside in Milwaukee; Water St. and Humboldt. Also one might say an accidental pocket recording at a bar.

As I said, due to the weather, my main focus was on the heating systems that have kept me alive the past few months. The horrible drone that seems to be constantly humming from below at a nearby house. This one coupled with the electrical interference of a refrigerator.

In the true form of media experimentation, what better than that of the recording device.

Drift 01 strategy

Due to the beautiful weather this winter I chose the best possible drift strategy one could. Drink and stay warm. Whichever may be the closest and most convenient destination is the best bet in staying, well, conscious. Left or right may well be a matter of good recording, or of decent appendage. I turned where I could, but dear God TMZ is on. This is a documentation of that experience.
